Battlestar Galactica - Sometimes a Great Notion (413)

This thread is intended for discussion of Battlestar Galactica episode 413 "Sometimes a Great Notion" (airdate Friday, January 16th, 2009).

Ok, I will start. I am a sometimes BSG fan. Mostly I love the acting, directing, effects and the total and complete world they've created. I buy into this being a different world with its laws, look and feel, etc.

I say sometimes because it's always so damned sad.

I totally did not see D's death coming. And for it to have been so quick, so bam!, out of nowhere, I was shocked. Just speechless. And sad.

I like that Ellen is the final Cylon. I didn't at first. it disappointed me. I guess I wanted it to be someone cheesy or so crazy it was stupid, like Starbuck or Ms. Pres. But now that I've absorbed it, I like that she gets to be with Tigh forever. He's such a romantic soul beneath that eye patch.

Again, forgive me if I've gotten names or spelling thereof, wrong. As I said, I am a sometimes fan. I have missed great gaps of storytelling when I couldn't take the depression anymore. New Caprica anyone?
