Without A Trace (feat. Geoffrey Owens Nov. 11th)
The purpose of this thread is to discuss the Nov. 11th episode of Without a Trace, featuring Artemis Eternal casting director Geoffrey Owens.

Hehe. Wonder what he's really been doing since the Cosby Show. Looking at his imdb profile, he hasn't done anything too major since those days, mostly an episode here and there, with an Al Pacino movie going on for him at this moment. A lot of dead time in between however. Good for him though. He's a great guy and AE will certainly give him a boost
for the Owens!
saw the ep.
not a fan of the show, but i made an exception to see Geoffrey in action. it was worth the time to see him. he's really good. maybe the best part of that ep. i am always happy to see actors i like getting work-- especially the ones who don't work alot and/or are not well known. the episode itself didn't suck, either. great story. but the guest actors and their stories were more interesting than the main characters.

I didn't get to watch it last night but I have it recorded on the PVR. Hopefully will get to it this evening.

Okay......so my inaugural episode of Without A Trace has now been viewed. I generally dislike procedural type shows (eg. CSI, Law & Order) as I find they focus too much on story of the week and there is very little character development.
Without A Trace doesn't seem to be much different, and I have to agree with Sean in that the guest characters were far more interesting than the regular cast who seem to exist solely for the purpose of moving the story along.
That said, Mr. Owens turns in a fine performance as the bank manager, as did many of the supporting cast. Hopefully this translates into some more work for him in the future.

Hopefully I'll get to see it soon
I wasn't able to make it home in time that night to see the episode, I'll have to continue hunting it down.
