That was a lot of fun! Playful. And it’s clear Jess had fun making it.
A perfect blend of entertainment and informative.

Hated the open/closing music. But somehow, she made it work. If I’d heard those songs outside the context of this vid, my brain would cringe. But if it works for her, then I'll allow it.

she noted that the “Press” were caught unawares by AAE. I have to wonder how so many don’t know about this. Do you even have the internet? Seems to me they have blinders on or are deliberately obtuse when it comes to non-mainstream projects. shouldn’t it be their job and their interest to know about such things? don’t they have connections? Are there no geeks on your staff?
I know several wingmen have contacted some of these media sources. bonus points for Comic-con resulting in new connections and publicity.

When she wrote that the end montage was for us, I thought she meant that her mugging is a treat for our amusement. But then I realized she means the space is intended for footage of us-types. Dag nabbit! I can’t be a part of this one either, because I still don’t have a vid editing setup. Oh well. The honor is to serve, not be seen. But I’m still hoping to do an “artsy” vid for external viewing.

That AAE title in mist at the end always gets me psyched! Beautiful and a stimulating sign of things to come for the actual film.

well, I finally bit the bullet and made a teeny tiny clip for the Wingman summer update vid. Holding my breath to see what magic she can spin out of that. I am definitely not an actor. Definitely.

Hey, Sean, don't worry about a vid setup to get onboard. I just took video with my digital camera and sent it her way. Low tech, and simple. Nothing fancy. I figure there was no way I could do fancy. I don't have the time, talent, or the technology. She can do the fancy (I hope). You should be in the video. You post a comment to just about every one of her posts. It's like I *know* you in the JSto universe. You Just have to be in it.

Enough pleading.

I actually found that loved the intro and outro music, but mostly 'cause it's Jess there doing her thing. Don't know that I'd have picked those songs myself just for listening to, but when I hear that rat-tat-tat at the beginning, I immediately think of Artemis. and I agree, I love that misty cloudy foggy Artemis Eternal logo. It is simply beautiful.

Sorry I have posted all of one time here. I'll try to do better and help you all get this community hoppin.

YAY! another contributor. thanks for joining us, RSM. I've noticed you at JSDC. I hope such as we can get this community operational. there's a lot (more) we can do here. and I'm thinking on that subject.

as for me doing a vid: I can't act either. I did use my digital camera, but for some reason i fail to grasp, the file is too huge to email, even though it's less than 20 seconds. i really would love to be included, but i have no readily available way to compress the clip. I agree with you that I should be in the vid. I'll have to settle for doing artsy photos instead.
speaking of which, since you have the camera, why not send wingman pics this way. even if you didn't get a shirt.

I *did* get a shirt, but neglected to wear it in my vid. I was at work when I did the "filming" so I was wearing my "work clothes." I keep meaning to get my hubby to snap a pic of me wearing my super cool new shirt, but it never seems to happen.

I will redouble my efforts and get something out to you soon.

Maybe 20 seconds was too enterprising. I only filmed something like 4 or 5 seconds and sent it along. Really really small. Almost nothing. Chop that baby down and get in there!

I *love* RSM as my new nickname. Thanks. I was going to sign up as Melissa, my real name and the one you've probably seen me use as I leave comments on JSDC, but figured RSM was cooler as a wingman.
